The Polyblends are used where, in addition to oil & fuel resistance, superior weatherability, in particular resistance to ozone, is required. Grades differ in the type and content of the NBR rubber to adapt to specific combinations of performance, service environment and processing.

Chemigum® NVC Polyblends are physical blends of Chemigum® NBR Rubbers with PVC Resin, plasticizers and stabilizers. After mixing, the blends are extruded in to sheet of thickness about 8 mm (0.3 in). Several sheets are piled in to bale form. The packaging is completed by wrapping the sheeted bale with polyfilm.

The Polyblends must be further compounded, like NBR Rubber, with fillers, additives and curatives and vulcanized after calendering, extrusion or molding in to finished part.

Environmentally friendly NVC grades are identified with suffix E. They are free of DOP plasticizer and heavy metals.
