Pliolite^® SB Latices are emulsion polymerized copolymers of butadiene and styrene. Applications of the Carboxylated LX grades include carpet backing, coating of non-woven fabrics and paper. Standard L grades are used in adhesives, modification of bitumen and textile finishing. Although the standard type Pliolite^® SB Latex L2000 may be used for tire cord dipping, the established Eliokem product for this application is Pliocord^® SB Latex, which is commonly used in combination with Pliocord^® VP Latex.
