In
blends with plasticized PVC, these polymers
become thermoplastic
elastomers (TPEs) for both static and dynamic window
gaskets. They can be easily coextruded on rigid PVC
window profiles for both pivoted and sliding windows.
The Sunigum® based TPEs allow production of white and light color seals and have
the key benefit of ultra-violet stability. Black and dark colored weatherseals
can be made from Chemigum® based TPEs.

TPEs are low compression-set, attractive
appearance, high speed extrusion of delicate
shapes, co-extrudability with rigid PVC
and low plasticizer migration.
