An
important benefit of the Chemigum® elastomers
is the ability to enable deep-draw during
thermoforming without the risk of uneven
thinning and pin holing of skins.
In addition, it also improves the embossed grain retention of the calendared
skin during the service life of the product.
Chemigum® elastomers enhance flexibility, oil resistance, abrasion
resistance and 'rubber-like' appearance. They also
help to retain plasticizers, thus maintaining physical
properties after severe aging.
Sunigum® elastomer is intrinsically resistant
to degradation by heat and Ultra-Violet
(UV) radiation. It enhances oil resistance
and soft touch of the TPEs.
