Often when a renovation or home improvement project is undertaken, several different substrates will need to be primed or coated. Using separate primers for drywall, concrete or glossy substrates such as painted wood and varnish, can be very costly. Eliokem has formulated Pliotec for general purpose and universal primers.

Universal primers can be used interior and exterior and can adhere to multiple substrates and have some stain blocking capabilities. Pliotec PA20 is recommended for this type of primer.

General purpose primers are generally for interior use only and are more of a bonding primer types. Pliotec SA40 is recommended for this type of primer.
